THE TWO GROUPS OF REGULAR VERBS THAT WE HAVE COVERED ARE
ER verbs and IR verbs
You will find ER verbs covered at the following link
ER VERBS
__________________
Finally IR VERBS - -
There are also very easy -
They referred to as IR verbs because their name (The infinitive) ends in IR - examples with be - finir - to finish - Rougir - to blush - Punir - to Punish
As with ER verbs - you remove the IR and add person specific endings -
These must be learnt
Je - - - - is
Tu - - - is
il - - - - it
elle - - - it
nous - - issons
vous - - issez
ils - - - issent
elles - - issent
as you can appreciate these endings are slightly harder to learn - so practice saying them out loud ten times!
Now let's add them to a verb.... ..
FINIR
Je finis
tu finis
il finit
elle finit
nous finissons
vous finissez
ils finissent
elles finissent
Now do the same for the other two verbs mentioned above.
